October is the time of year when the changing of the seasons begins to get our attention. Old Man Winter is on the way and it is time to prepare our homes and our heating system. October also means it is time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual nationwide campaign aimed at increasing awareness, prevention and treatment of women suffering from this disease.

With our wives, mothers, sisters, daughters and friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer in our thoughts, we are excited to announce our #CatchMeInPink campaign. As part of this campaign, during October, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

This includes a $5 donation for every #CatchMeInPink pic you post on social media. Simply “Catch” our staff in pink with a picture and include the #CatchMeInPink hashtag when tagging our page @BetterCallArmstrong and post it. You can also win a $25 Visa® gift card with your photo. Each photo entry will be automatically entered for four weekly drawings on Oct. 10, Oct. 17, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31. Like and follow our Facebook page for announcements. Entries are limited to one per person per week. There will also be a Grand Prize given away for a trip to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands!

Whether you need a winter heating system tune-up or your current heating and air conditioning system needs replacing, this month is the time to schedule it to help everyone win. A professional tune-up will make sure your system is operating properly and efficiently. This will help on utility bills, reduce breakdowns, repairs and replacements and will also help eliminate and protect against carbon monoxide poisoning. If your system needs to be replaced, you may be eligible for rebates or tax credits currently set to expire at the end of this year.

Call Armstrong today for all your winter preparation system needs and help support Breast Cancer Research.
